Rocky Mountain ATV/MC case study hero

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is a major online retailer for dirt bike, ATV, UTV, and motorcycle parts. RMFantasy is the fan-engagement product they wanted alongside the storefront — a fantasy app for the three premier dirt-bike series (SX, MX, SMX) that gives the fan base something to do between transactions.

We shipped iOS and Android with real-time race scoring tied to live data feeds, fantasy team management, group league play (so a riding crew can compete against each other), and push notifications timed to race events. The hard problem was the live-race spike: thousands of users hitting the app concurrently during a Saturday-night main event, expecting scoring updates that match the broadcast.

The integration with the retail business is intentional but quiet. The app is a fan tool first; commerce shows up at moments where it makes sense (a rider you drafted just won, here is the team's gear). The result is a 4.2-star rating in a category where most fantasy apps live in the low threes.
