Built the Deseret Bookshelf app for a 150-year-old publisher
iOS and Android library app for hundreds of thousands of Deseret Book members — 4,000+ eBooks and audiobooks, offline mode, audio streaming, and in-app purchases sitting on a 4.9-star rating.

Deseret Book has been publishing faith-based content for over 150 years. Their digital surface had to feel as durable as that history while doing the things modern members expect: search, sync, listen, read, buy, repeat. The Deseret Bookshelf app is the product we built to make that work.
We shipped iOS and Android with offline mode for both eBooks and audiobooks, cloud sync so a member's place follows them across devices, audio streaming with the standard background-playback controls, and in-app purchase plumbing into the existing catalog. The backend layers on top of the publisher's existing systems instead of forking the data model.
The numbers tell the operational story. 4.9 stars. 5,600+ verified reviews. 4,000+ titles in the library. Hundreds of thousands of active members reading scripture and listening to talks on the bus, in the car, and from a kitchen counter while dinner cooks.
