Architecture & design · the system every engagement inherits

Taylor leads architecture and design at AppsTango. He owns the part of the practice that compounds across engagements — the design tokens, component library, and front-end patterns that make a 30-day MVP possible without sacrificing polish.

His job is structural. The Tailwind + shadcn baseline, the AA-accessible component primitives, the dev-handoff specs, and the brand-tokenization workflow that lets us ship a customer's palette and typography on top of a battle-tested foundation.

When a customer shows up with a Figma file, Taylor is the engineer who decides what to keep, what to redraw, and what to map onto the system. When the system itself needs to extend — a new chart type, a new form pattern, a new motion language — he's the one extending it. The work is invisible when it's right; it's the first thing reviewers flag when it isn't.
