A layover companion for flight crews who refuse to slam-click

iOS and Android app that helps flight crews swap food, fun, and friend-finder tips across cities, so layovers turn into something better than a hotel-room marathon.

Crews case study hero

Marc Smith spends 10 to 18 nights a month on the road like every working flight attendant. The good places, the crew discounts, the friend who happens to be on the same overnight — all that knowledge gets discovered, used once, and lost when the next trip starts. Crews is the app he built with us to fix that.

Three surfaces: Food (restaurants, food trucks, airport options with crew discounts, filtered by city), Fun (paddle boarding, walks, biking, farmers markets — anything that beats staring at the hotel ceiling), and Friends (location sharing across airlines, scoped to a chosen circle). Each piece is built for the specific rhythm of a layover: fast lookup, low friction, no signup pain.

We shipped iOS and Android in parallel and kept the data model intentionally light so members can contribute the next great spot without going through a moderation queue. The product wins when the network grows; everything else compounds from there.
