They began in 1996 by offering hard to find soap making supplies to local friends. They launched their first websit with a small list of products that they offered. They later introduced the Lye Calculator™. The Lye Calculator™ has helped many people through the challenge of creating soap recipes and has moved the formulation of soap from the realm of the chemist to the studio of the artisan.
